Please Read Our Shared Responsibility

We believe a healed and healthy pet is a partnership between the highest quality product and a willing pet owner that does what it takes. We have thousands of these customers. We're proud to serve them!

This includes giving our products a fair shake - at least 6 weeks before evaluating them.  Why?  We have hundreds of dogs coming to us from different health or disease histories, ages, genetics, etc.  Some dogs need more time and consistency.

Our customers demand the best, cleanest products with no artificial flavors or flavorings. So we expect our picky or finicky pets to be enticed in a way that encourages them to use it for those 6 weeks.

Pet parents are encouraged to add anchovy paste, a little of any of your dog's favorite things (we recommend any of these - canned tuna, organic sheep's milk Romano or parmesan cheese, raw goats milk, cottage cheese, coconut milk, bone broth, or olive oil) to entice your dog to eat healthy.  Then, you can eventually wean them off of these slowly if you prefer.

Ironically, it's the finicky dogs who may need our products the most.  Their poor gut health may be the cause of their limited taste range.

If you still must return an item this is our official policy:

Returns are welcome for a 100% refund within 30 days of your first order, limited to a single pack of any product where at least 50% remains unused. This policy protects customers from the risk of their pet disliking or refusing to eat a new product. If your first order includes multiple packs, only one pack is eligible for return, so we recommend ordering just one pack initially. You may donate any extras to your local shelter. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

This policy is also included on every order confirmation email (receipt) after your order summary.

If your product is damaged during shipping, you may be asked to email us a picture and return it in the original packaging and we will file an insurance claim you must sign before reimbursement. We appreciate you enclosing it all in another bag or zip lock. Email us at https://gussysgut.com/contact to initiate this process.

For non-damaged returns that qualify, please return the 50% minimum unused product with tracking to:

We do not resell returned product, ever. Even if it is unopened. It is destroyed for the safety of our customers.

Digital Products

There are no refunds on digital courses sold on our web site.

Restock Fees

We do not charge restocking fees.

Pre-orders

When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date.

Christmas Return Extensions

We extend the return time to 45 days for all orders placed December 15-January 1.

Store Credit Processing Time

Please allow up to 5-7 business days from receipt of your product return to processing your store credit. You will receive an email confirming your credit has been placed.

You can cancel a pre-order order for a 100% refund that has not yet been fulfilled until such time it is fulfilled.

There are no returns allowed on purchases made with store credit.  Store credits expire in 12 months.  They hold no cash value.

Incorrect addresses

We offer 100% of our customers the ability to check their address and verify them for USPS and UPS before submitting their order.  We use AddressGuard for this. It is our customer's responsibility to check their address is correct before placing their order. We are not responsible for orders sent to the address our customers use with their order.  In the event of an incorrect address, a completely new order must be placed and a new shipping fee will be required.  We are happy to refund the order sent to the incorrect address if it returned to us.
