10 distinct types of fibers
Most “healthy poop” products do one of two things: lean on a single isolated fiber to force stool into shape, or spray on a synthetic vitamin premix to hit a checklist on paper.
Fiber & Fortifier™ does neither.
It's built from 13 organic whole-food plants that bring your dog more than 10 distinct types of fiber plus a garden's worth of whole-food nourishment, the way nature actually delivers them. Better fiber going in. A healthier gut and a more perfect poop coming out.
Pair it with any of our fermented blends (Boost™, Sustain™, or Youthful Grasses & Sprouts™) for well-rounded digestive support.

Where It Fits in Your Dog's Routine
This isn't a standalone gut supplement, and it's not meant to be.
Fiber & Fortifier has one specific job: it adds whole-food fiber and the kind of whole-food nourishment your dog would get if you chopped fresh vegetables into their meal yourself. Think of it as working downstream, closer to the colon.
Gut support is a different job, and that's where our fermented blends come in. Boost, Sustain, and Youthful Grasses & Sprouts are pre-fermented and formulated to support microbiome diversity and gut health upstream.
Use them together: add a scoop of Fiber & Fortifier alongside your fermented blend for your dog's full gastrointestinal health support routine.
GO DEEPER
What's Inside and Why It Works
13 Plants. 10+ Fibers. 3 Big Jobs.
13 Plants. 10+ Fibers. 3 Big Jobs.
Most people think of fiber as one thing: “the stuff that keeps things regular.” It isn't. Fiber is a whole family of plant compounds, each with a different job, and your dog's gut can tell the difference. The trillions of microbes in the colon are surprisingly picky: some thrive on one type of fiber, some on another. Feed them only one, and you feed only a fraction of that inner ecosystem. Feed them many, and the whole community flourishes.
That's the idea behind this formula. Instead of one isolated fiber, we built it from 13 whole-food plants that together deliver more than ten distinct types of fiber: soluble and insoluble, fermentable and bulking, prebiotic and structural.
- The prebiotic fuel: inulin & FOS. Chicory root is one of nature's richest sources of inulin and fructooligosaccharides, the preferred food of beneficial gut bacteria. As those microbes break it down, they produce short-chain fatty acids that nourish the colon lining. Alfalfa grass and broccoli add to this layer.
- The gel-formers: pectin & resistant starch. Apple fiber, beet root, blueberries, and raspberries bring soft, gel-forming pectin that supports steady digestion and comfortable stool. Beet root and pumpkin add resistant starch, another microbe favorite.
- The bulk & the brush: cellulose, hemicellulose & lignin. Kale, spinach, parsley, celery, green bell pepper, and pumpkin add clean bulk and keep things moving, while berry seeds and tougher stalks contribute rugged lignin.
A healthy gut isn't built on the amount of fiber alone. It's built on variety. The trouble is that feeding 13 fiber-rich plants every single day is hard. This blend closes that gap in one simple scoop.
Fortify Every Bowl With Food, Not a Factory Premix
Fortify Every Bowl With Food, Not a Factory Premix
Open most “optimized” pet foods and you'll find the same secret: a synthetic vitamin-and-mineral premix, much of it manufactured overseas, sprayed on to hit a checklist. It works on a spreadsheet, and it's cheap. It's just not what your dog was built to eat. Dr. Billinghurst strongly recommends against these premixes.
The Fortifier half of this formula takes the opposite path, bringing a wide spectrum of vitamins and minerals to every meal the way nature delivers them: inside real, whole-food sources your dog's body recognizes and can absorb.
- Vitamin K from kale, spinach, parsley, and broccoli
- Vitamin C and natural antioxidants from green bell pepper, broccoli, blueberries, and raspberries
- Beta-carotene from pumpkin and dark leafy greens
- Folate, potassium, and magnesium from the green vegetable blend
- Iron, manganese, and plant antioxidants from beet root and berries
- A garden's worth of phytonutrients you'll never find in a lab-made blend
The one nutrient plants are naturally light on: zinc. Rather than reaching for a synthetic shortcut, we point you to nature's own answer: a single oyster. Ounce for ounce, oysters are the most zinc-dense food on earth. Add one to the bowl, and that last trace mineral clicks into place, no factory premix required.
Designed for the Most Perfect Poops
Designed for the Most Perfect Poops
Let's be honest: as a dog owner, you judge a lot by what shows up on the lawn. This formula is quietly designed to make that moment a good one.
The trick is two fiber families working together. The soluble fibers (pectin from apple, beet, and berries, plus prebiotic inulin) draw in just the right amount of water and add gentle cohesion, so everything holds together. The insoluble fibers from the greens, pumpkin, and bell pepper add clean bulk and keep things moving at a steady, comfortable pace.
Soluble softens, insoluble shapes, and the result lands right in the Goldilocks zone: firm but not hard, formed but not crumbly, and (your favorite part) easy to scoop in one piece.
Real Fiber That Actually Works, Not Just Psyllium
Real Fiber That Actually Works, Not Just Psyllium
Not all fiber is created equal. Psyllium and other single, isolated fibers mostly mask the symptoms of gut issues: they gel and bulk until stool firms up and looks tidy. The catch: it's easy to read tidier stool as a problem that's been solved, when the underlying cause hasn't been addressed.
Fiber & Fortifier takes a different approach. It's a diverse blend of whole-food fibers meant to nourish the gut and support normal function from the inside, not a high-dose gelling agent engineered to override what the bowl looks like. So you stay tuned in to how your dog is really doing, and if something needs attention, you and your vet can catch it early.
Chicory root is the standout. It's an exceptional prebiotic fiber that actively helps the gut do its work, and you'll only find it in our Fiber & Fortifier.
What Are “Bitters” and Why They Matter
What Are “Bitters” and Why They Matter
This blend is also rich in bitters: naturally occurring plant compounds with a bitter taste, found in certain vegetables, roots, and herbs. They stimulate natural digestive secretions and support healthy gut function. They're compounds most dogs simply aren't getting enough of, and they're a quiet part of what makes this formula different.
Don't worry: your dog will love them.
How to Feed
Add, stir, and serve. It really is that simple.
- Feed 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per 20 lbs of your dog's body weight. The range is flexible: add more fiber on the days your dog needs it, less when they don't.
- Mix into food. Do not feed dry powder. Add a splash of water if needed.
- Use in place of vegetables and fruits in any pet food: kibble, gently cooked, raw, or anything in between.
- Do not heat or cook.
- For best results, use for at least 90 days before evaluating results.
This product is a dog food supplement, intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only. For dogs only. Every pet is unique, so please consult your veterinarian before starting any new supplement.
“This is my done-for-you supplement to add to your raw & homemade dog food (and yes, even kibble) without the prep work and the guesswork.”
